Scrapbook Circle AUGUST kit....

Happy Saturday ladies!! Today I will share with you guys Scrapbook Circle's August kit. I think this was my most favorite kit from them...EVER! I went through this kit in just a few hours. I love the soft colors and the fun embellies!! I also loved the project included in this kit. Thanks for peeking!

Here is the project from the kit. It's a wall hangin from Kaiser Craft. This was super fun and easy to create. I wrote a little about it on the Scrapbook Circle Blog.

I love using both sides of double sided papers. BUT it's only useful if you already know how the pages will go in the album. These layouts are for our family getaway to Lake Tahoe.

I also love using scrapbook packaing as embellishments or background paper. I also wrote about this on the Scrapbook Circle blog. It's a great way to use up "waste" that would have gone into the landfills!

Here is a sketch I created for the month of August.
I created this sketch for the Scrapbytes Jul/Aug E-zine. The theme of the month was Filipino pride. What perfect timing since we just went to Fiesta Filipina at SF last June! It was the first time we ever went, even for my parents.
