Finally...let's go visit Egypt!!

I know, I've been saying this for months now..LOL. It's been crazy busy with Ate Nette's family from the PI in town. We just got back from Lake Tahoe and hopefully things can calm down a bit. I am making some birthday invites for a friend, so after that I can get my scrap ON! LOL!

Some of you have asked about the circular wheel and maybe a turtortial....But I have a secret. I didn't make it! It's from Paper Trunk. Isn't it pretty cool. I was totally nervous how to use it, but I just started playing with it and adding this and that and it was done! There are 2 chipboard pieces and a big brad to attach the 2 together. There is the background chipboard that is a solid piece. Then the top chipboard that has an opening. When you turn the top part, you can see the different pictures! How fun is that!

Okay, let's go to Egypt. I have posted a couple of layouts so far, but believe me..there are TONS more! I took a break from our Holy Land trip, but hopefully next week I can get back to them. I do want to scrap our Baker Beach and Lake Tahoe trips...ack!! Will it ever end...I hope NOT! I love taking plethora of pictures, traveling with the fam, and capturing everyday memories!!

This layout uses a kit from Shelley Belle. I think it was their February kit. I love the clouds in the paper and it totally fit these pictures on the plane and airport.
My poor kidlets, they are so tired. And to think this was only Day 4! We still had over 10 more days of traveling. We took Egypt Air, and it was not happening. I felt so dirty...eek!

Day 1: Touring the churches in Egypt.
This was our first stop: The Crypt of the Holy Family.
Isn't it so cool that we actually visited this place where Jesus, Mary, and Joseph stayed as they fled Israel. The 3 Kings warned the Holy Family that King Harod was looking for them. They fled Bethlehem and traveled Egypt for 6 months.
**I created this layout for the Color Story Challenge.**
Here was one of the places they stayed. It is now called Church of St. Sergius and St. Bacchus after the 2 Saints that built it.
Although Christianity is not the main religion in Egypt, there is a sec called Coptic Christians who follow similar to belief to Catholic Christians.
That's all for now!! I'll post more later :)
