Here are some more layouts from our Holy Land Trip.
These pictures are from the Island of Porus, the first island we stopped at during the Aegean Sea Cruise. I LOVE the quaint town and the stepped housing raising against the hills. Beautiful!
For the layout, I cut out the swirls from the Urban Lily PP. Then I cut apart the Grungeboard swirl and painted it black. It flows with the PP, but also gives it some texture. Then I embellished the swirls with Prima flowers, Heidi Swapp ghost shapes, and buttons.
Another set of pictures from the Island of Porus, our family of 5!

Love the new Pink Paislee goodies. Here I cut the bracket frame in half. Then used ribbons, chipboard, and even the metal hat pin to embellish it. For the title, I outlined the letters to help them pop out a bit more. I used a Heidi Swapp ghost shape to outline the "5" and topped it with the cherry bling.
This picture was taken at the Temple of Zeus, what an amazing place. Even though some of the columns have fallend, there are many that are still standing. These things are HUGE! I love this goofy picture of us! Hee-hee!
I had a blast with this layout! I love the black polka paper...totally stands out against the bright pink and orange. Oh..notice the orange PP. I love the die cut edging...Pink Paislee baby!! In the corner, I cut out Fancy Pants transparency and layered it with a bunch of flowers. I used Grungeboard hinges. All I did was ink it with colorbox ink...easy! The title block is a Basic Grey chipboard. I painted it and embellished with alpha stickers and other Heidi Swapp goodies.
And more goofy pictures from our visit to the Temple of Zeus. Along with Ewa and Tina's family, and Cousin and Mikey!! We are all acting crazy!! LOL!
This layout had a bunch of pictures, so I wanted to keep it fairly simple. I used a single sheet of PP, but also used the Pink Paislee border..with staples :) Added a few simple touches like the ribbon strip, rubon, and title work. On this layout I used Fancy Pants rubons...fun stuff!
I also posted a product review on Ranger Crackle Paint..I love this stuff! So easy to use and dries pretty quickly!!
Pictures of the boys while on the boat during the Aegean Sea Cruise. LOVE the crackle paint, notice all the texture. Then I inked it with chalk ink to really get into the cracks :)
The kids love hanging out with my brother. Doesn't he look like captain of the ship or something? haha! Here, I used Ranger Stickles--my other favorite thing!-on top of the crackle. Totally helps it stand out.
If you read this far...THANKS so much...haha!
