Dead Sea, Israel

I really should update this more frequently. I have so many PAST layouts to share with you, but I'm not about to post 2.34 million layouts in 1 post. So I plan on spreading them out, but I keep forgetting! Sorry about that. Oh..and I still have not scanned the layouts from the Bay Area Scrappers crop I went to. They are still sitting there waiting for some journaling.


The following layouts were from our time spent at the Dead Sea. What a magnificent place! The sea water consists of 30% salinity. This phenomena allowed us to "float"! It was really fun to watch as everyone would just lie back and float!! It was especially funny to watch my dad pretty much pushed my mom onto her back and started dragging her around! Sorry, Mommy, but it was funny :) This is an experience that we will cherish forever!

My poor Jassy Belle did not enjoy the super salty and very stingy water on her eczema skin. She was also super nervous with the slippery rocks and mud. She dipped a bit in the water, then hung out on the sidelines.

The boys on the otherhand had a BLAST!! Jordan was all over the place and enjoying the "floating" action! The sting of the salt didn't bother his eczema, well, it did, but it didn't matter. And Mikee giving Heintje a mud "tattoo" of ND! haha!

Finishing up and rinsing off the sand from our toesies! Don't you just love that KI paper. Picked it up from Joann.com when it was on super sale for $10!

Finally, here we are on the road again. We made a quick pit stop at Mount of Temptation. The place where Jesus wandered in the desert for 40 days/nights.
